My brother and I met an Austrian prisoner of war years ago. He had been a POW at a camp near San Antonio, Texas. He heard us speaking English on a Vienna tram. He said to us, "Where are you from?" When we said, "Texas," he responded excitedly about the time he had spent near San Antonio. He was falling down drunk, but very personable.
