He also apologized for saying the person he was discussing had a "hair nig*er" temper and that there was a "full coon" out tonight.

Sure. They never do tell you what the "slur" is.
That one man said colored. They called it an archaic term. Why shoot, that is what we called them on the south side of Chicago in the 1950s. I don't see any reason to change now.
