“Rockford, ill. (wifr/Gray news) - a man was taken into custody wednesday afternoon after police in Rockford, illinois, said he attacked and stabbed multiple people.
“police investigators and the winnebago county sheriff’s office said during a wednesday afternoon press conference that four people were killed.
“the stabbings happened in the area of Cleveland avenue, Holmes street and Eggleston road, according to Rockford police.
“five others were injured [sic]. officials at OSF Saint Anthony medical center reported that four of those individuals were taken there for care.
“police asked the public to avoid the area while the investigation was active. there was a heavy police presence at the scene.”
GRA: This story was on nnn (no race revealed yet), but a woman whom they reported as the first victim, said her house was broken into by the perp and she fled, though suffering [likely defensive] wounds to her hands, in the process.
The stabbings occurred at multiple locations. Rockford is 62% White and 11% black—more than enough blacks to suspect the usual.
Question: Why don’t they (reporters) ask and report what race the perp was?Maybe they did, and it was the “wrong one”?

NUMBER OF THOSE STABBED IN ROCKFORD,ILLINOIS MURDER SPREE GOES UP TO 11 TOTAL--4 STILL DEAD.
ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police said 4 people, including a mail carrier, are dead and 7 injured after a series of attacks by a suspect in a southeast neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
Police announced that they took a 22-year-old male suspect into custody at 1:35 p.m. after 11 people were attacked in a bloody rampage through a Rockford neighborhood.
Police said the four deceased victims were a 15-year-old female, a 63-year-old female, a 49-year-old male and a 22-year-old female.
Authorities were initially responded to a 911 call in the 2300 block of Holmes Street, around 1:15 p.m.
Winnebago County Sheriff Gary Caruana said the suspect was involved in a home invasion on Florence Street. A female victim is receiving treatment for stab wounds. Caruana also said a good Samaritan who intervened in the attack is also receiving medical care.
The suspect then reportedly continued attacking people throughout the neighborhood, including the 2100 block of Eggleston Road and 4800 block of Cleveland Avenue. The area is located between between Charles Street and Harrison Avenue, east of N. Alpine Road.
At a press conference Wednesday afternoon, Rockford Police Chief Carla Redd said four people are dead, one is in critical condition, and four others are hospitalized in stable condition. Two people from Winnebago County were also hospitalized, Caruana said.
Redd said not all of the victims were stabbed, and said there was no known motive for the crimes.
