The great patriot, John Kennedy, and his wife, Rebecca, not to be confused with President John Kennedy

The guy who looks like a surfer dude is named Gus Schumacher. He claims to be a high school graduate, which unfortunately doesn’t mean what it used to. (Full disclosure: I am a high-school dropout, and a proud bearer of a new york state GED. However, I would never presume to testify before the U.S. senate as an expert on CO2.)
Schumacher even lied about who’d invited him to speak, acting as if he hadn’t been invited by either party.
The only thing Gus Schumacher might have some expertise on is men’s cross-country skiing—I had to look that up, having stopped watching the olympics years ago. But he didn’t come to the U.S. senate to speak about men’s cross-country skiing. He came as an “expert witness” on the climate.
Note that while Gus Schumacher knows nothing about the climate, he presumed to lecture John Kennedy that, once the man from Louisiana publicly determined that Schumacher had no expertise on the matter to which he wanted to speak, Kennedy had no right to ask him about vicious, lying statements he had made on twitter (“That’s off-topic”; “That’s off-topic”).
@svenferreira7176 “I think within 5 minutes he realized he shouldn’t be there” N.S.: I only wish you were right. However, the way he lectured Sen. John Kennedy (“That’s off topic”—twice) suggests that his self-esteem (read: vanity) is much too high for him to realize that.

“at today’s senate budget committee hearing, sen. John Kennedy (r-LA) had a tense questioning of democratic-invited witness American cross-country skier Gus Schumacher”
“John Kennedy has tense questioning of olympic athlete who ultimately refuses to answer”

Poor fellow is just plain dumb it seems. Shouldn't even have been there in the first place. Gus that is.
The verdict:Schumacher is an idiot. When confronted,he runs like a mouse when someone walks into a room.
