UC Davis Has Added Caste to Its Anti-Discrimination Policy--Well, Sort of

DAVIS, Calif. – The University of California, Davis, has added caste to its anti-discrimination policy after students said they have seen discrimination take place at the university based on the South Asian practice of assigning people their social status

R.C.: Sounds like this country.

Where whites are now pariahs.

Say, is the use of "pariah" a matter of cultural appropriation?

N.S.: "the South Asian practice of assigning people their social status" No such practice exists. People's caste goes back centuries. They are imitating the practice of sexual psychopaths, who assert that people are "assigned" their "genders," as opposed to the sexes they are born with.

UC Davis is the 'farm campus' -- located in a small city about an hour from Sacramento, it always had a heavier emphasis on studies related to agriculture; it has the only veterinary medical school in the UC system (it's one of the top rated in the US and the world) -- in the past, i.e. when Calif was much whiter, admission to UC Davis was not quite as competitive as e.g. Berkeley and UCLA, which were always the most desirable/prestigious campuses (later joined by UC San Diego) -- but with the influx of Asians to Calif, competition for a place at UC, no matter the campus, increased significantly -- so now admission to UC Davis is extremely competitive too.
