Police Cannot Pull (black) Drivers over in Philly Anymore for Minor Driving Violations–blacks Cheer
(ZH) Today in “liberal cities are moving one step closer to total lawlessness” news, it was reported that Philadelphia’s City Council has passed a measure that bans officers from pulling over drivers for traffic violations like broken taillights or expired registrations.
The measure, being called an “anti-driving-while-black” law, is being seen by social justice advocates as a “victory for equity,” according to the Delaware Valley Journal.
Councilmember Isaiah Thomas’ Driving Equality bill supposedly seeks “to address the tension between members of the black community and police by reducing the number of minor traffic [sic] Thomas wants to redirect police time toward “keeping the community safe” while removing negative interactions that “widen the racial divide.”
[N.S.: Thomas is a bald-faced, racist liar. “The tension” is due to most blacks’ hatred of ordinances, contractual rules, regulations, laws, etc., as in anything that limits their will.]
We guess the idea of reprimanding officers for pulling people over for no reason, instead of actually having a valid reason, never crossed his mind. Because keeping things “safer” now apparently means you can drive around in a car with busted headlights and no registration. Ah, the sweet smell of progress.
Thomas commented: “To many people who look like me, a traffic stop is a rite of passage – we pick out cars, determine routes, and plan our social interactions around the fact that police will likely pull us over. With this vote, I breathe a sigh of relief that my sons and my friends’ children will grow up in a city where being pulled over is not a rite of passage but a measure of the safety of your driving and vehicle, regardless of the skin color of the driver. That’s why I am grateful to my colleagues for voting to pass my Driving Equality bills.”
[That is such a hoary, black blood libel, like “the talk.” I even had a mullatto (half-Korean) date who identified wholly with her black father, even though she couldn’t stand him, give me what I dubbed “the test,” where she pulled that stunt on me. In order to have a chance with her, I had to submit to the lie. I refused.]
GRA: Everyone knows and I accept—but blacks do not—the premise of these stops. In my younger days, I was pulled over twice by cops for “a license plate light out.”
In fact, it was to run a check on ME. Fine. Warrants? No.
“Okay, I gotta go,” the cop said.
By the way, my license plate lights were NOT out.
I laughed. I had nothing to hide—but blacks do.

Did the same here in Portland. Cops are not going to pull over blacks for “minor” traffic infractions. Guess a cop looks in the car, sees a black face, and just ignores whatever they’ve done. Instead, they are to focus on speeding violations, in other words, plant themselves in streets waiting for a White to be going 5 miles over the speed limit, and issue a ticket. That way, they ticket somebody who might actually pay for the violation and get more money for the city. Of course, that means many more black criminals will not be apprehended and will continue to kill, rob, and rape with impunity.
City lowered the speed limit on many streets, and you have to be very careful about staying right at the speed limit. You can see cops set up watching for speeders all over.

“Cops are not going to pull over blacks for ‘minor’ traffic infractions.”
They’re not going to pull anyone over for these infractions, which are typically problems with the vehicle that result in a “fix-it” ticket – but yes, the policy change was triggered by the fact blacks are more often issued these “fix-it” tickets.
As I explained in a number of comments on unz.com, these policy changes represent a widening of “disparate impact,” which gained a major foothold in the U.S. judicial system via the Vulcan Society v. FDNY lawsuit – so expect to see more of it.
Far more serious are decisions like the one made by a female DA in Michigan: after working with a “criminal justice reform” outfit in NYC, she decided not to charge blacks arrested for e.g., drug offenses with additional weapons counts, even when applicable – since in her jurisdiction (like everywhere, actually), blacks disproportionately commit these weapons violations.

What a liar, and every black that gives their kids "The Talk" is a stinking liar also. Everybody gets stopped by cops, so why can't Whites also claim it to be a "rite of passage"?
OK, then the blacks will say: "It happens way more to us"!!!!"
Yeah, that's partly true, but they say that after making it sound like it "only" happens to them. Plus from the stats I've read, they get stopped 2-3 times the rate Whites do (per capita), but since they commit crime at 2-3 times the rate as Whites, they're right in line with their criminality rate.
So it's perfectly logical they would get stopped more by cops, they fit the description of a possible criminal more often than a White would. Simple as that and not racist whatsoever.
If these racist blacks actually cared about their kids lives, they'd give them "The Talk" about the dangers of their own brothas, the odds of being killed by a cop are comparable to hitting the lottery, and if you're kid isn't a criminal, thug and resists arrest his chances of getting killed by a cop are essentially zero. The chances of being killed by a black gangsta/thug are actually quite significant.

During such times they find guns, drugs, ou8standing warrants for the occupants.
