One can sense the liberal media's collective sigh of relief, now they can let Little slip away and go back to shoving white serial killers like Bundy, Gacy & Dahmer in our faces 24/7. In fact, Netflix has a new 2020 series about Ted Bundy:

It's only the umpteenth one featuring Teddy boy, pushing the notion that he is the country's "worst", despite the fact he has been eclipsed by Little and other black serial killers like Lonnie Franklin jr. and Eugene Coral Watts, plus possibly Billy Chemirmir (if they would ever properly investigated the true extent of his rampage that is).
That's the game they play with black serial killers vs. white one, black ones they do all they can to keep the number of their victims low whereas white ones they whip up as much hysteria as possible and try to pump up their number of kills. You can tell by the careful way police and media speak of black serial killers, with Little they disingenuously ignored that the country's "most prolific" averaged a paltry 2 victims a year in the over 4 decades he was active, keeping the number of his victims below the magic 100 mark. They would deny it of course, but there is no doubt in my mind it was deliberately done in order to reduce the publicity surrounding Samuel Little.
Our local "news"paper the Oregonian didn't think Little merited even one front page mention, instead ran 3 low key back page stories over the course of a year or so. The safely white Golden Gate killer got the memorable nickname along with multiple, hysterical and very detailed, front page features, plus plenty of "reminder" mentions popping up at regular intervals. I called them out on that in their comments section (before they banned me then dropped the comment section altogether) and my comment got sent down the memory hole.
