Acosta Forced Out—why? Pathetic Peter Alexander makes another stupid comment.
(NYTimes) Washington — President Trump said Friday morning that R. Alexander Acosta, his embattled secretary of labor, will resign following controversy over his handling of a sex crimes case involving the financier, Jeffrey Epstein, when he was a prosecutor in Florida.
Mr. Acosta called the president this morning and informed him of his decision to resign, Mr. Trump said, as he left the White House for travel to Milwaukee and Cleveland.
[Acosta didn’t call the President, and resign. The president, or one of his minions, probably, Acting Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney, called Acosta to fire him. That’s the way it’s done.]
GRA: Did Acosta do something illegal? Only then, should he have resigned. Lib media is giddy—they've done it again—forced out a Trump cabinet member. Who's next? DeVos? They don't like her either.
Trump stayed outside and talked for 30 minutes in the sun. At the end of his appearance, NBC News’ Peter Alexander, one of the whiniest male reporters out there, said this: “President Trump—with sweat dripping off him—has wrapped up the taking of questions, regarding the latest Cabinet resignation.”
“Sweat dripping off him,” means what? He’s nervous? Fat? What is the point of this particular description? These kinds of words used by Alexander are not an accident. On the factless NBC News, insinuation is more important than truth. Let's see Alexander stand outside in 85-degree heat for a half-hour and not “perspire.”
Alexander the “not-so-great” continues his less than illustrious reporting career—unblemished by excellence or objectivity.
