Deputies and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded about 7:55 a.m. Thursday to the 5800 block of Lorelei Avenue, near South Street. When deputies arrived, they were met outside the home by a woman who was taken into custody for questioning, while inside they found three dead people — the teen girl and a man and a woman, all thought to be from the same family, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detective Daniel Vizcarra told reporters at the scene.
