At the age of 9, a few years before San Francisco “Zebra” murders, the Death Angels (Nation of Islam/NOI Fruit of Islam/FOI) attempted to abduct and murder me, in the hills of Oakland, California.
I cannot describe how lucky I was to have survived. I wonder how many other stories like mine are out there. It wasn’t until reading Howard’s book, about 30 years later, that I realized the connection.
Thank you for gathering this information here. If only we had something like a full accounting of Death Angel deeds.

Are those cons perpetrators and found guilty of the Zebra Murders still in prison? I would like to think so.
