I was ambiguous when I first saw this. On the one hand I value speech, no matter how repugnant. On the other hand I can understand people's reflexive and understandable repulsion at this.
Having read the details, I see no reason to give an unrepentant racist cop killer any platform, because labeling himself a "political prisoner" means he's learned fuck all during fifty years incarceration. He should have gotten the death penalty, but that's a separate issue.
The deciding factor in my thinking is SUNY'S lie that they value all speech. Good luck getting Ann Coulter a speaking engagement there; see how quickly they renege once the Antifa/BLM/Other Assorted Leftist Trash threats come in.

This is what the CV of a junk academic looks like: nothing but intellectual mush -- he has a doctorate in 'Counseling and Counselor Education', whatever that is -- I had no idea there was such a thing -- one can imagine the blah blah that is taught and reflected in his dissertation.
But he's representative of the mediocrities who've assumed control of academia and are setting/in control of the policy agendas there, while all the smart people are studying useful things like science and engineering.
With more women and non-whites going to college shit like this was inevitable.
I wonder if the bla member was informed,that to be allowed to speak,about 40 NYPD would be up on stage with him,correcting his misstatements and propaganda.Would he then show up?
The school president claimed he was for free speech--points of view expressed.There should be no problem then,with my suggestion--since free speech is his goal.
Or does he only want "free speech" heard from the negro point of view?

Bad guy was executed a long time ago. Fired twenty-two rounds into the officer on the ground begging for his life. I hardly think Anthony has changed one bit since then. A leopard does not change it's spots.
I doubt too that this school would dare to invite someone such as a Rand Paul to speak. Period.
