It should not have taken so long.

And every white person should always remember: he should never have been charged/indicted in the first place.

As it needed to be done.

And while I'm happy for Kyle and his family and friends, I refuse to celebrate this, or feel any other emotion about it than that -- no other outcome should have been remotely possible; in fact, as I've said he should never have been charged, indicted, and put on trial in the first place.

As a self-respecting white male, I refuse to be reduced to celebrating the fact that the evil government tried but failed to imprison another white male for defending himself -- because the government is still there, it's still evil, and they will do it again, and far worse.

Fantastic news. It makes me so happy--in spite of personal problems like trying to get a roof leak repaired. Now when can Kyle become a national leader? We need people like him who can and will fight. This is not a racial issue it is a justice issue. My Asian wife shouted "YES!" when she heard the news.

Yes eahilf, exactly right. He should never have been charged in the first place. It was a clear cut case of self defense with video and eyewitness evidence.

I can't help but play a little "let's change the race around" a bit. If one of the people shot by Rittenhouse been a black man, how would that have changed things? Or if a black BLM rioter shot a White in the same circumstance?
If the first case happened, no doubt the protests and public pressure to convict would have been ramped up exponentially and there may well have been a conviction. If the second, then there would be massive demonstration and riots in defense of the shooter, or he never would have been charged in the first place.

That's a good point,Jerry. The media and commies didn't have a dog in this fight--it was Whitey on Whitey--though the two shot Whiteys were commie/anarchists.Still,the media tried to connect it to Jacob Blake,in their half-assed way, thereby making it a type of referendum against Whitey in general and Whitey fighting back, specifically.

Lawyers I heard interviewed on WBBM,were surprised that Rittenhouse was acquitted on all charges.

It's possible, the White jurors--in this specific situation--stood up for Rittenhouse,as a White person and decided to free him completely from any and all punishment--which I applaud.

For now,it is a limited,specific victory.

Was innocent all along. Classical self defense.

You guys are right. There is no justice in Kyle having been charged with crimes, or in the rioting, violent, homicidal human armpits not being charged.

I'm still glad that Kyle was found not guilty. Thank you Jesus!

BIDEN,"ANGRY AND CONCERNED" OVER RITTENHOUSE VERDICT.

Statement by President Biden(via ZH)

While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken. I ran on a promise to bring Americans together, because I believe that what unites us is far greater than what divides us(GRA:I see nothing that unites us). I know that we're not going to heal our country’s wounds overnight, but I remain steadfast in my commitment to do everything in my power to ensure that every American is treated equally, with fairness and dignity, under the law(GRA:Unless you're a White Patriot).

I urge everyone to express their views peacefully, consistent with the rule of law. Violence and destruction of property have no place in our democracy(GRA:Unless blacks do it). The White House and Federal authorities have been in contact with Governor Evers's office to prepare for any outcome in this case, and I have spoken with the Governor this afternoon and offered support and any assistance needed to ensure public safety.

Seeing the reactions on the Left to the Rittenhouse acquittal just reinforces my conviction that the US of today cannot, and will not be able to, continue as a coherent, functioning polity, and tyranny will be the consequence (which you see developing today) -- large fractions of the population simply no longer have enough in common -- the first nail in that coffin was 'diversity', i.e. the US becoming multiracial.

I think the late Sam Francis coined the term anarcho-tyranny -- anarchy begets tyranny.

This reminds me of a tweet I saw a few years ago:

A country where half the citizens believe that sharing Hitler memes justifies the death penalty and the other half are sharing Hitler memes is in for a rough ride.
