Water certain time of year Lower Rio Grande Valley deeper, swifter flowing, colder. A release from Falcon Dam upstream and illegals drown. Not purposeful. River in many spots only two feet deep before flooding. One moment you can wade, the next day you cannot.

If they get ALL the bodies out,the river level would probably drop 10 feet, lol.

JK Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series is one of the few celebs to be truthful about gender: https://www.glamour.com/story/a-complete-breakdown-of-the-jk-rowling-transgender-comments-controversy#intcid=recommendations_right-rail-personalized-popularity-experiment_42c111c5-d864-4c57-9eaf-b02aab464c3c_popular4-1-static-N50-reranked-by-text2vec1
The gender Nazi's have dogpiled on of course, even the actors (or should I say ingrates) in the Harry Potter movies, with the noted exception of Robbie Coltrane who played the role of Hagrid, have joined the howling mob. Rowling even got into a Twitter spat with Stephen King over the issue. King's ultimate response to a fan when asked to comment on Rowling's "transphobic statements" was to say: "Trans women are women"

Seriously? "How" are they women Mr. King? Do they have a uterus? Can they bear children? Were they born with a vagina? No to all that, and no amount of hormone therapy or surgery can change those realities. So what you are saying is negated by scientific fact. Isn't King supposed to be a brilliant man? Maybe he is, but that doesn't mean he can't be delusional and/or fearful of the lynch mob that will descend on him if he dissents from Woke ideology.

I do like Mr. King's writing, he is a talented author, but after he was hit by that car, he seemed to lose something. I liked his books previous to that but afterward couldn't read anything he wrote, I tried but there was a certain spark to his writing that was no longer there. I have to wonder if the accident also changed his brain in a way that made him unable to perceive reality in some way. As for Rowling, I tried to read the Harry Potter books and watched the movies, mainly because my kids loved them so much, but didn't care for either. Rowling's writing just didn't grab me for some reason but she's showing the world she can be rational about gender issues and has the courage to speak truthfully.
