ATR: "Help Wanted"
That was the sign I saw affixed to the front door of Tian Tian today. Had lunch there. Sign went on to say that restaurant needed cooks, servers, bartenders and hosts. Everyone.
Tian Tian is a new Chinese restaurant in North Dallas. Opened a few months ago. https://tiantian.kwickmenu.com/

ATR: Tian Tian had the very same robot shown in the Zero Hedge article.
A server would grab food from the line in the open kitchen, put it on one of the "steps" of the robot, key in the table number, and then the robot would silently whisk away to the assigned table.
Pretty slick.
Apparently, it has lidar, as it stopped on a dime when one of the cooks unexpectedly stepped in front of it.
Open floor plan for the restaurant. So, robot delivery worked very well.
Visualize a self-propelled Stairmaster, and you will know what I am talking about.

Make the robots crack down on blacks in restaurants and I'll vote for it.

Given the service you get in many eateries the use of robot cannot be much worse.
