I heard about this “thing” on the list of Oscar nominees, as documentary, short. The moment I saw the title: A Love Song for Latasha, I knew whom it was about.
Latasha Harlins was a strapping, 15-year-old, racist, black thug who lived in South Central Los Angeles.
Harlins weighed over 150 pounds, and had a punch like a man. On March 16, 1991, she decided to shoplift some orange juice, so she went into the Du Family’s convenience store.
Usually, the Dus’ son worked the counter, but a black gang had threatened to murder him, and so his 50-something mother covered for him.
Mrs. Du saw Latasha Harlins hide a bottle of juice in her backpack, over by the cooler. Meanwhile, she had two singles in her hand, to make a pass, as if she were paying. However, she did not stop at the counter to pay. Instead, she headed straight for the door. The petite Mrs. Du, who weighed about 100 lbs., grabbed the thief, which was her legal right to do, but the thief beat her to a pulp. Mrs. Du then ran back to her counter, grabbed a concealed pistol, and shot Harlins in the back of her head, as Harlins sought to flee.
After the racist, 1991, black Los Angeles riots, propagandists made up a racial fairy tale, whereby they asserted that the riots were in response to the death of Latasha Harlins.
The riots were in response to the cowardice of the LAPD brass.
If it were the case that a group had the right to burn the city down, in response to the “murder” of one of its members, then it was the Koreans who should have struck the match.
Those same propagandists who lied about Latasha Harlins never mentioned that in the previous year, racist blacks had slaughtered no fewer than nine Korean convenience store clerks in hate crime murders.
And of course, blacks rape and slaughter Whites every day, but I’ve never heard of any blacks granting Whites the right to burn down black neighborhoods.
Some comments follow that I posted at the youtube page of this “thing” follow:
N.S.: Did you know that Koreans rioted nine times in L.A. the year before Latasha Harlins’ fortunate death? They were responding to the nine Korean store clerks that racist blacks had slaughtered in hate crime murders, while robbing the stores where they worked. But the Koreans never rioted, even though they had ample reason to. Racist blacks did commit those hate crime murders.
N.S.: And the 1991 black riot, in which racist blacks slaughtered 53 people, and caused over $1 billion in property damage, had nothing at all to do with Latasha Harlins’ death. That’s just something propagandists made up, after the fact. This is racist pornography. The racist scum dominating this thread get mad as hell, anytime someone challenges their lies.
@Adila Hanan “Your question has no relevance to this post at this time.” N.S.: You hate the truth, you hate right, and you hate Koreans. Latasha Harlins was violent, racist scum. Nobody with any sense of decency, can have compassion for her.
@Jenny Kim @Leoma Mofokeng “I completely agree. Regardless of attempting to steal the juice and physically assaulting the store owner who confronted her, she absolutely did not deserve to be shot. The store owner should have let her walk freely out of the store, called police and provided the security footage instead. It’s a tragedy.”
N.S.: Jenny Kim, you're triangulating like crazy! Where did it say that Harlins had a right to not only steal the juice, but beat the store owner to a pulp? That was a rhetorical question.
Mrs. Du had a right to defend herself. If Harlins had wanted to live to see another day, she should have kept her hands off Mrs. Du. "Stealing some juice isn't a death penalty offense." Beating a frail, petite woman over three times your age to a pulp, is a death penalty offense.

@Serpentine913 Serp Racist concern troll.

@Chyra Harrell She wasn't a "child," she was a strapping young woman who weighed 150 lbs., and had a punch like a man. It is sick that Mrs. Du got five years probation; she shouldn't have gotten a day. Racist thief Latasha Harlins committed a brutal assault and battery against her victim, which changed what would have been shoplifting into strong-arm robbery.
Nicholas Stix
@Candy Lane Racist liar. Harlins did shoplift the juice, and when the shop owner, a frail, middle-aged woman, who was only working there because local black gangs had threatened to murder her son, grabbed her to stop her from leaving the store, the racist thief gave the woman a brutal beating. The victim then grabbed a gun and shot the perp, who was fleeing her crimes, dead. If you have the moral high ground, why do you lie about everything?
Nicholas Stix 1 second ago @Adila Hanan Because she was shoplifting, you racist fool! But you knew that. 1 second ago @Jenny Kim @Leoma Mofokeng "I completely agree. Latasha Harlins was shot in self-defense by a woman half her size, and over three times her age, whom she had brutally beaten. She had no intention of paying for the juice she stole, or she’d have paid for it, instead of cruising straight for the door. First off, say the names of the nine Korean convenience store clerks racist blacks had slaughtered in L.A. alone, in the previous year! Say her name: Soon ja Du! Say her name: Channon Christian! Say her name: Anne Pressley! Say her name: Jessica Chambers! Say her name: Quita Hague! I’ve got lots more names of the victims of black supremacism. J Speed 6 months ago (edited)
“Latasha Harlins would be 45 now. She was shot in the head by a Korean grocery store owner in 1991 over a juice. She was only 15. When police arrived, they found the $2 in Latasha's hand that she was going to use to pay for it. The owner was given five years probation. Tupac said her name various times in his music.Say her name.”

[Postscript, october 18, 2023: One of the propagandists who spread the blood libel, whereby black supremacists had some sort of “right” to burn down l.a., in response to Mrs. Du's killing of Latasha Harlins, was White writer Nicholas Lemann, in his 1999 book, The Big Test: The Secret History of the American Meritocracy. The Big Test was supposed to be about the scholastic aptitude test (sat). As my old vdare colleague, Steve Sailer wrote in his review, Lemann was supposed to write an exposé of the sat, only he found nothing to expose. Thus, Lemann instead padded out the book with a gossipy history about the test’s founders, a blood libel against model minority members like the Du family, and support of what I came to dub the ugly asian movement--inferior asians who have been waging war on model minority asians and Whites, and supporting genocidal, black supremacists. The blood libel was Lemann’s assertion that blacks were justified in committing mass murder, looting, and arson by Mrs. Du’s killing of Latasha Harlins.]

Revisionist history continues--blacks attempting to decriminalize crime through efforts like this short--a propaganda piece whose main goal is pushing the argument forward.
"shoplifting--no crime."
"drug dealing--no crime"
"gang shootings--no crime"
"prostitution--no crime"
"murdering Whitey--no crime"
"robbing gun stores--no crime"
"rioting--no crime"
"burning down police stations--no crime"
"not paying child support--no crime"
"raping White women--no crime"
"holding neighborhoods hostage--no crime"
"car theft--no crime"
"no rent paid--no eviction"
I've stated, the future of America, will be the elimination of these laws--one by one. It's just a matter of time,as minorities are voted in or appointed to government positions which can determine a particular city's policy regarding the legal aspect of each crime.
It's coming--to a city near you--thanks to the pro-black culture that's being embraced and forced on us today.
"The Bachelor"--which I wrote about last night--nationally shamed a White woman on network TV--with two blacks doing the honors. The imagery was unforgettable--with one White woman seated between two negro men and told she was garbage and a racist for posting something on Facebook they didn't approve of--this after the host was fired for supporting the White woman.
The movie short is part of the attempt at mind changing propaganda that blm/antifa(which includes network brass,it appears) want to fill White viewer's heads with.Last night's show was the most blatant piece of anti-White programming yet.
I believe it's impact will be profound--and negative to Whites from this point forward.

Lots of b.s. just in the trailer:
"SHe wanted to own her own store, cuz she wuz tired of being followed"--I'll bet she'd shoot a customer who stole from her, just as the Korean lady did--blacks shoot over much less.
"She would've been a great mother"--teaching them wrong from right?Only wrong,I'd surmise.
"Then she wanted to be a lawyer TOO--she got all A's."
Yup--A as in Aggravated Assault,A as in Absconding,A as in Aiding and Abetting other Afro-American thugs--lots of "A's"
blacks on Obama TV(Netflix)are doing what they do in a prolific amount--lie about their behavior and their past--trying to rewrite it.If no one calls them out on this garbage, expect a deluge of similar fake documentaries--and no one will.Expect Lesta Holt to promote this on "Negro Nightly 'News'".

Mass killing over a stimulus check...who else but a 13%'r? https://www.foxnews.com/us/indianapolis-man-quadruple-murder-stimulus-argument
What really jumped out at me was one section from the article:
"He shot Daquan first," she added. "He shot Anthony. He turned around, and he shot my Auntie Tomeeka. My Auntie Tomeeka said, 'Malik!' and he shot her again. He came back and shot Daquan for the second time and somewhere between little Baby Eve got hit somewhere and she was screaming, she was screaming."
Gotta love the way even the victims try to mitigate the man's crime...He didn't "deliberately" shoot the 7 yr. old girl, it just kinda happened along in the general spray of bullets. Guess killin' a 7 yr. old ain't so bad then. They never would've said that if it were a white man.
The apologias for black crime go back much longer than you might think. I found an article from Time Magazine, National Affairs, dated April 21, 1958, This was nearly 63 years ago when Ike was President.
The article (http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,810262,00.html) is titled, "The Negro Crime Rate: A Failure in Integration." Some highlights below:
"They are afraid to say so in public, but many of the North's big-city mayors groan in private that their biggest and most worrisome problem is the crime rate among Negroes."
This is followed by the crime stats. In New York (14% Negro) 44% of the males and 65% of the females were Negro. Actually the stats weren't as bad in 1958 as they would be the following decade.
"Negro leaders sometimes argue passionately that arrest statistics wildly distort the comparative incidence of crime among Negroes and whites because cops are more likely to arrest Negroes for petty crimes or on mere suspicion." Sound familiar?
"Abetting the concealment campaign is the feeling shared by many whites that it is unfair, inflammatory, and even un-American to talk about Negro crime." This sentiment has gone up what, 1000%?
Time Magazine's solution is Integration, which is what you heard till around 1968. And "stop slamming the doors."
This article from 1958 is worth reading, from the nothing ever changes department.
But it IS changing,David.Watch TV for half an hour and tell me that we aren't seeing an attempt to make 13% of our population--not our equals--but our masters.Up until 10 years ago,I never would have fathomed this.I ask it often--who is pushing this(the blacks couldn't attempt it by themselves)and what is the goal?
And why are Whites twiddling their thumbs while this ramps up?

She wanted to be a lawyer. OH sure. Like Treyvons in FLA WANTED to be a pilot.
That to me says a lot. Nine Korean shop owners killed by negroes previously. Maybe there is a reason the Korean gave the colored dirty looks.
I have seen the video of the colored girl being killed. Was like a trap door was sprung from underneath her.
