Cheap motels are nig hangouts,--Motel 6 and the like. The state pays these motels to house just released prisoners.Druggies, hookers and just plain thugs walk around all night yelling. When you wake up,a couple fire extinguisher glass enclosures are usually bashed in.
You don't want to stay there.

I thought Days Inn was a better establishment,but the picture doesn't lie--it's a slum.

FIRST MURDER OF THE YEAR IN GRAND RAPIDS IS AN UNUSUAL ONE
BREAKING: Woman shot in northwest Grand Rapids last night has died, Kent County medical examiner confirms. REPORT:
Woman dies following shooting in Grand Rapids
A 65 year old woman who was shot in Grand Rapids Sunday night has died.

GRA:Three days in and the first murder of the year. The location is Alpine and Leonard, approximately 7 blocks from my house. The murder scene is an apartment complex freshly built for the negroes about 2 years ago.
WOODTV said a witness saw a man knock on the victim's door and shoot her immediately, then the witness saw the perp run north on Alpine. This is rapidly becoming ghetto area--thanks to low income housing exploding plus section 8 giveaways.Still this is an unusual hit,as it involved the killing of a 65 year old woman.

I'm assuming black on black as of now.

Update:Appears that this took place at a house--not an apartment complex as was first reported.

RARE HIT OF A 65 YEAR OLD WOMAN IN GRAND RAPIDS

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A woman who was shot in Grand Rapids Sunday night has died of her injuries, officials say, making her death the city’s first homicide of 2021.

The shooting happened around 11:45 p.m. Sunday at a duplex at the intersection of Leonard Street NW and Alpine Avenue.

A neighbor told News 8 she saw a man walk up to the front door and then fire shots into the home as the victim answered the door, hitting her. The shooter then ran away, headed north on Alpine. The neighbor said she called 911 and then went outside to console the victim’s grandson.

The Grand Rapids Police Department said the victim, a 65-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The Kent County medical examiner confirmed Monday that she had died.

Authorities had not released her name as of late Monday afternoon.

GRA:I've never heard of this type of shooting on a woman, let alone a woman of this age.
