I remember Maya Angelou and her poem, "The Rock, the Tree, and the Turd." But she's black, so you're not supposed to say the truth about her "art."
Saw a couple sentences--if she was on "America's Got Talent",I'd have given her the buzzer.
I'd like to apply for White poet laureate,with this:

Brings to mind another lauded literary giant - 'Ta-Nehisi' Coates (Ta-Nehisi - Egyptian trans: 'land of the black') - whose admitted greatest writing influence was comic books.
Trying to read anything this guy has been 'universally praised' for, is like slogging through some schizophrenic's racist diatribe.
If he hadn't won the MacArthur 'Genius' Fellowship award ($625K) - which began an avalanche of stupid people throwing money at him for years - he looks like he'd gladly kill you:

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids native Kyd Kane lives for poetry.
“Every single day of my life is centered around a poetry-related thing,” the spoken word poet, whose legal name is Ericka Thompson, said.
She was recently named Grand Rapids’ poet laureate. She’s the first Black woman to hold the position, which she said is “huge.”
“Time to elevate all the voices that have been silenced before,” she said.
