McConnell proposes postponing impeachment trial until February
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) proposed on a call with Republican senators Thursday that Donald Trump's impeachment trial be delayed until February to give the former president enough time to mount a defense.

McConnell told colleagues that Trump should have at least as much time as the president had in previous trials, which means he would like to postpone the proceeding until the second week of February, according to Republican senators on the call.

SCHUMER'S BONER OF THE DAY

(ZH)It appears the dream of impeaching President Trump and blocking him from running for office ever again has Senate Democrat Leader Schumer 'excited'...


In case you didn't hear it straight, Schumer said:

"Senators will have to decide if they believe Donald Trump incited the ERECTION against the United States."


Now that is a hard accusation to swallow.
