Just a quick thought,everyone thinking that Trump would decide on installing martial law or an Insurrection Act aren't thinking about what the swamp has hanging over his head.The House would already have enough votes to impeach, the Senate does not,but the Senators that oppose conviction,made it clear that--and this is a quote--"as long as Trump doesn't do 'anything else'--they will vote to acquit."
So a move by Trump towards either of those paths would be met with removal.
It's that simple--and he knows it.
