A new commercial out today, had as its background music,"She's Like a Rainbow"--One of my favorite Stones' songs.

Where has all the talent gone--or is it being suppressed?

I see a quick, subliminal shot of John Lennon dancing like a crazy man. Great stuff.

Worth putting my 2 cents in? Well, I have time to kill...
Jagger (I think) said the Stones were really an R and B band. I disliked that stuff and thought their Beatles-influenced "psychedelia" music was much better ("Rainbow," "Paint It Black," etc.). "Brown Sugar" repulses me (musically, that is), and "Sympathy-" is also hard to listen to with that Whoot-whooting at the start like a sick express train, and Jagger's "Pleased to MEET-CHOO..." He's not the greatest singer, though his style works for certain songs- his attempt at a ballad, "Angie," is excruciating! (Supposedly written for Angie Dickinson- she did get around!)
"Satisfaction" stands apart from everything else and is a timeless classic, one of the best rock songs ever. And Devo's remake is great as well!
Classic moment in "Apocalypse now"- a speedboat with some rowdies goes by, blasting the song, and as it trails off, we see Martin Sheen looking at the paperwork he's been handed re Colonel Kurtz, and faintly hear the line, "Tellin' me more and more, about some useless information..."

I have to throw in "Dead Flowers" as another favorite of mine from the "Sticky Fingers" album.
