This sounds like something by Laura Wood of "The Thinking Housewife," who rushes to embrace every conspiracy theory coming down the pike.
Want puzzles me is how Charlie's neck managed to stop a 30-06 bullet which did not even make it out the other side. No blood on his back. Most say such a bullet blasts a big hole in large game.
