Joint chief of staff general, Dan Caine, and Marco explain why Maduro had to go, and how it happened:"don't play games," said Rubio

GRA: brigadier general, Dan Caine, gave the play by play of the overnight attack on venezuela, that President Trump said, "could have gone horribly wrong," and P.T. added, "we are running the country now and will be for a while.

"'Maduro was making cocaine and sending it into the U.S., along with unwanted people--gang members, P.T. said.

"Rubio and Caine characterized the battles as, 'the U.S. forces going in and encountering venezuelan military forces. we then had to 'defend ourselves' and did so successfully.

Is this akin to mexicans coming into our country and shooting ice personnel when being arrested--that they have the right to "defend themselves"?

Poor phrasing, in my opinion. All in the eye of the beholder.

P.T. then said, "the infrastructure is out of date in venezuela, we're going to pour billions into their oil industry--money coming from the oil companies--but in the end, there will be much more oil produced for the world."

Reporters asked if the U.S. would run venezuela "for years?"

P.T. said, "well, it won't cost us anything. all of this is going to be a great thing for us--and the people of venezuela."

Katie Tur asked the final question about Putin, and P.T. schmoozed with her for a second before saying, "I'm not happy with Putin. I want to stop that war."

If sending unwanted people is an act of war, how come we aren't fighting the whole 3rd world?

"Semantics",lol. Why stop at venezuela though--and P.T. made a reference to cuba being in play. Our 51st,52nd states--then Greenland and Canada.

Today venezuela--tomorrow--zee world!

Reasonable summation. Highlight:

"Machado (Maduro's successor) is a well-known supporter of LGBT rights, promising to introduce gay marriage and "modernize Venezuela's banking" (i.e., usury). Maduro banned both gay marriage and interest-based lending." (Reportedly, Maduro also banned abortion, pornography, and transgenderism.)

The modern version of "Why We Fight."

Wealth and resources (especially when stolen by force) support our wonderful American values, as detailed above.
