“December 21, in 2018 Ian was shot in the back of the head, exactly one week after getting the cancer-free diagnosis (the cancer he fought for ten years and won) from doctors.
“Jeremiah Hannon (inset), who was in the midst of a 'two-month crime spree,' robbed Ian and shot him in the back of the head, because 'he wanted to.
“Ian didn't deserve this, everything he dreamed about doing after his cancer-free diagnosis, gone forever is a marriage, a family, career... all ripped away from the Olsons because of Hannon.
“remembering Ian isn't enough, laws need to be changed as Hannon gets out of prison next year on the 21st, just prior to his 25th birthday, to do it all over again... which is why I'm writing the post. the 'too stupid to understand and the too young to understand' defenses need to be banned. if you're old and smart enough to pull the trigger on an innocent 18 year old — 'because you just felt like it", you're old enough to be executed.

[N.S.: It wasn't a robbery, it was a first-degree, premeditated, racially motivated hate crime murder. The robbery, if there was one, was an afterthought. I doubt there even was a robbery. Jeremiah Hannon had confessed, nay bragged, that he murdered Ian Richard Olson, “because I wanted to.” Olson submitted, because that's what “experts" tell Whites to do, because the “experts” are no experts, but rather are allies of the war criminals, and black war criminals then have an easier time murdering Whites.]
“Jeremiah Terrel Hannon, 17, pleaded guilty wednesday to second-degree murder in the december 2018 slaying of Ian Olson, a lymphoma survivor who was found shot in the back of his head by a worker at a motel 6 in portland just days before Christmas in 2018, the oregonian reported.
“Hannon, who was 15 at the time of the slaying, was sentenced in Multnomah county as a juvenile to up to 20 years of confinement, but he must be released by his 25th birthday according to state law, the newspaper reported.
“few details of the killing were released by authorities, including how the teens got to the motel and what Hannon took from Olson, but prosecutors said it occurred during a two-month crime spree by Hannon that included an attack on a max light rail train that left a man with a broken jaw.
[Note the refusal by the authorities to say just what Hannon did to Olson, beyond shooting him in the back of the head. This suggests that Hannon's crimes were really sick.]
“'prosecutors also read a letter from Olson’s mother saying that her son is gone forever while Hannon will be released from a juvenile facility in a 'few short years,' the oregonian reported.

“'I was going to the hospital almost every single day,' Rhode previously told kptv, saying he would sit next to Olson during the treatments. 'I always felt like he was going to beat cancer, too. I knew it. and, that’s what happened.
“'an attorney for Hannon, meanwhile, read from a statement her client made nearly a year ago apologizing for the slaying. the teen also pleaded guilty wednesday in the december 2018 train assault and stealing another person’s phone days later, the oregonian reported.
“'I can’t take it back,' Hannon wrote in his statement shared by attorney Dawn Andrews. 'I’ll try to make myself right so I don’t put someone else through nothing like this … I’m truly sorry.'”
N.S.: Note that Hannon didn't even read “his” statement of contrition, his lawyer did. And he never wrote it, either; his white female lawyer did that, too. White lawyers representing war criminals always knock themselves out, defending them. Conversely, the attorneys defending accused White war criminals, e.g. James Alex Fields, mail in their defenses.
About 30 years ago, New York Daily News columnist Stanley Crouch a black democrat, but a grouchy one, maintained that the death penalty (justice), far from being uncivilized, is a fundamental requirement of civilization. Unfortunately, the News' word limit, at 650, was much too brief for Crouch to mount an argument.
