What to do about the aclu?

Anything with an acronym seems to spell trouble. A serious administration, with real legal savvy and solid enforcement, would be dismantling the ACLU, ADL, GLAAD, SPLC, TSA... not to mention the FBI, CIA, IRS. Not happening in our lifetime.

Like I posted on another story, RM, there's too much that's wrong in the U.S. these days. Go after those groups, they'll go to court and then the mid-terms and Trump is a lame duck (literally and figuratively). Say goodbye to ANY progress, in the last year, on anything.

Well, yes, too late now. Should have put his foot down from day one of his first term. Instead he reneged on "Lock her up," repealing Obamacare etc. If he had acted on voter fraud Biden wouldn't have gotten in. 2nd term, fudging on Epstein, turning on his own base, runaway inflation, starting wars, wishy-washy on Minnesota rioters, hiring and promoting awful candidates... And his own party obstructing him. He's done.

Meant to post this one; you'll love it: Did you know the guy he's backing for florida governor is a BLACK with a CRIMINAL RECORD who has TIES TO CHINA? Amazing!

N.S.: The President never reneged on "obamacare." Three allegedly republican senators, who had all run for years on repealing "obamacare," all stabbed him in the back: John McCain (az), Lisa Murkowski (ak), and Susan Collins (me).

ncaa president Charlie Baker, picking up where he left off as a massachusetts "republican" governor, isn't much help here. Makes me want to mash the acronyms together, NCAALCU.

Fox sports, december 17, 2024, headline: "ncaa prez suggests onus on female athletes to use other facilities if uncomfortable sharing with trans players. Subhead: "Baker calls notion that biological males have physical advantages over females 'debatable' before changing answer."

And he asserted that there were fewer than 10 transgender college athletes.

He turns 70 this year. A short but dangerous window in which he could show up as a vp pick in a post-Trump re-Bush-ified gop.

Howie Carr calls him "Tall Deval," as in similar to his [runty] predecessor-of-colour Deval Patrick.
