Couple is shot at saginaw gas station; one of the two--a pregnant woman--takes too much lead, and is pronounced dead
"saginaw, mich. (wnem/Gray news) — police in michigan said a pregnant woman was killed in a shooting early wednesday morning.
"saginaw authorities said the victim was identified as 19-year-old Kendall Berrington was pregnant when she was shot and killed.
"police said they responded to the scene at the marathon gas station on court street just after 1:30 a.m. wednesday, dec. 31 where they found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

Berrington was pronounced dead at the scene, while the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
police said no suspects are in custody.
detectives from the saginaw police and the michigan state police major case unit are investigating the shooting as a homicide.

And the next day the fill 'er up moves on to Macon, Georgia: Man Shot in Broad Daylight (3:00pm) on New Year’s Day at Macon Gas Station.
Local TV report says it was actually at the laundromat behind the gas station.
