rose bowl parade attendees lie and say, "the rain doesn't matter," while getting soaked
GRA: I watched some of abc's coverage of the rain-soaked rose bowl parade today and listened to some of the babble from announcers and attendees, e.g.: "we don't care," or, "is it raining?" (as they huddled under tarpaulin and raincoats).
2026 got off to a lousy start, with the first parade rain event in 20 years--just the opposite of last year, when massive fires broke out the day of 2025 parade, and went on for 25 days. James Taylor should have been the grand marshal of this year's effort.
"I've seen fire and I've seen rain..."
All in one year's space of time.
As for the liars who said, "the rain doesn't matter," they were observed piling under bridge overpasses to avoid the moderate precipitation--according to various reports.

Having grown up in the precipitation capital of the US and observing the reaction of people from less sunshine challenged places when they come to
pdx I can tell you right now it's pure bravado. We're used to it here but still don't like it, we just accept the inevitability.
"They" never show people saying,"This is lousy. I traveled 1000 miles to come here and it's a rotten day."
"I'm soaked and this isn't any fun at all."
No,abc has to do what they(the networks/press) do best and push a fake narrative.
No honesty on anything.
