"(zh) U.S. secretary of agriculture Brooke Rollins joined Fox news on sunday and addressed the American people about the usda's massive effort to combat fraud in the supplemental nutrition assistance program (snap).
"Rollins said that the Trump administration sent letters to all governors prohibiting illegal aliens from accessing benefits, with a historic request for state data to be audited alongside the department of government efficiency (doge). she said only 29 states cooperated, primarily red and some blue states.
"she said her team and doge found some of the most shocking fraud ever, resulting in the purging of 700,000 ineligible recipients since the president's inauguration, and arrested 118 individuals.
[GRA: 700,000 ineligibles and 118 arrests. Is that something to brag about?]
"some of the key findings she unveiled in the interview:
"snap spending surged nearly 40% under biden, linked to $100 billion in expenditures.
"thousands of ineligible illegals used ebt cards; one individual claimed benefits in six states.
"about 5,000 deceased recipients were still receiving aid.
"political activist Mike Netter noted on x, 'these states are stonewalling because they know the fraud is massive. when you hide the books, it's never to protect the honest folks—it's to cover up the rot. meanwhile, the states that did cooperate are already exposing exactly the kind of abuse the left swears doesn't exist.
"Rollins called for major reforms to ensure food stamps reach truly vulnerable Americans, not illegal aliens who abuse the system and act as a net drain on public resources."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immigration_and_Nationality_Act_of_1965
Fascinating background on the America-destroying immigration bill, passed exactly 60 years ago by LBJ. Ted Kennedy usually gets the blame, but is mentioned here only as a "supporter" of the Act, along with RFK. More directly responsible were various culprits including Truman, JFK, the U.N., and "high-ranking officials and interest groups." And of course Senator Hart and Congressman Celler, after whom the bill was named (click on their names in the article if you want to see a couple of angry, hateful faces). The story claims that roughly half of Americans polled supported the change in immigration policy, but that seems extremely dubious. I combed through TV GUIDE for the month of October, when the Bill was passed, to see if there was any mention of it on any news or information program- MEET THE PRESS, FACE THE NATION, the TODAY SHOW, ETV (the precursor to PBS), etc. You can guess the result- NOTHING on the most important governmental decree of our time. I don't have a collection of old newspapers, but I'd guess the coverage there would also have been minimal. In short, the general public was most likely unaware of the rug being pulled out from under them (or they were told, as I've heard, that it "wasn't a big deal" and wouldn't change much of anything). Want to cry? "Prior to the Act, the U.S. was 85% White..."
And in the year 2025, New York City just elected a Moslem as their Mayor.

ICE GRABS A SMALL NUMBER OF ILLEGAL TRUCK DRIVERS IN OKLAHOMA;34 OF THEM DRIVING SEMIS,WHICH IS A LICENSE TO KILL
(ZH)A two-day operation led to the arrest of 70 illegal immigrants in Oklahoma, which included 34 drivers operating a semi-truck or a commercial vehicle, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said in a Nov. 4 statement.
The arrests were made in partnership with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol between Oct. 28 and 29, said the agency. It is part of Operation Guardian, which has “resulted in the arrest of many illegal aliens driving trucks that had been issued Commercial Drivers Licenses in states with sanctuary policies such as California, Illinois, and New York,” the agency said.
In places that follow sanctuary policies, local officials refuse to enforce immigration laws or comply with federal authorities.
Out of the 34 illegal immigrant truck drivers, 26 were issued a commercial driver’s license (CDL) while eight were “dangerously driving” vehicles without such licenses, ICE said.
