The black setting Bethany MaGee on fire,in a Chicago subway, is the epitomy of "pointless violence". Yet mayor Brandon Johnson did not utter this phrase--not from what I've read.
"This is a failing of the mental health system and criminal justice system."
He makes a quick comment about the crime itself--I assume--but with blacks,assumptions can't be made.
"It is awful and horrible,"said Johnson.(GRA:WHAT IS?Be specific. Or is this a description about his fellow black being caught--and not the torching of a 26 year old White woman?
When we hear about a White,committing a rare inequity vs blacks from mayors,we hear the extended play by play:
"This is a black,trying to live a life,when this racist White waitress,using epithets of hate,then proceeded to deny service to this fine black family at the restaurant."(GRA:Even though they had previously walked out on a bill prior. This story is just an example of years past Lesta Holt reporting.)
But Johnson does not mention that the negro said to Bethany MaGee--"BURN BIT*H".
He does not mention that the subway train--likely filled with other blacks--did not have one person help Miss MaGee.
He does not mention that the perp is BLACK.
He does not say that a black burning a White woman up is "pointless violence."
Because maybe he thinks...it wasn't pointless at all.

ATLANTA "SKEET" SHOOTING RESULTS IN ONE NIG NAPPED DRIVER ON MONDAY
ATLANTA - A man was shot and killed late Monday night as he drove off 17th Street NW, and police say they have few leads as the investigation continues.
What we know:
Atlanta police were called to Bishop Street near 17th Street around 10:30 p.m. and found the victim — believed to be about 25 years old — still inside his car, which had crashed into a tree. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but he died at the scene.
Investigators say the man was shot while driving(GRA:"Pull!")though the motive remains unclear. Detectives believe the shooting was targeted, not random.
Homicide investigators canvassed the area overnight, searching for evidence and witnesses.
What we don't know:(GRA:How to report a story without saying,"what we know" and "what we don't know." Very irritating.)
The victim’s name has not yet been released. Additionally, police have not identified a possible motive or possible suspect. Anyone with information should contact Atlanta police.

They were part of the West Virginia national guard. The state's governor has confirmed the following:

AP News reports that two National Guard soldiers were shot point-blank just outside the White House perimeter at 17th & H NW.
President Trump has responded, saying both soldiers have been critically wounded by the "animal that shot the two National Guardsmen" and said the attacker "will pay a very steep price." The president's words at this point imply a lone shooter in custody.
GRA:Copycats aplenty out there who just need to see the initial act of something like this to want to repeat the act elsewhere. Civil wars begin like this.

P.T. NAMES AFGHANISTAN INVADER AS THE SHOOTER OF TWO NATIONAL GUARD TROOPERS

(BBC)Two National Guard soldiers are critically injured after being gunned down in Washington DC, less than two blocks from the White House, in what the city's mayor called a "targeted shooting".
Police said a lone suspect opened fire on two National Guard members from West Virginia on Wednesday afternoon, before being subdued by other National Guard nearby who had heard the gunfire.
President Donald Trump, who was in Florida at the time, said the alleged gunman was an Afghan national who entered the US in September 2021.
He vowed his administration would ensure the suspect "pays the steepest possible price" for "an act of evil, an act of hatred and an act of terror".
The Department of Homeland Security named the suspect in a press release as Rahmanullah Lakamal, "a criminal alien from Afghanistan". His immigration status was unclear.
Tens of thousands of Afghans entered the US under special immigration protections following the chaotic US withdrawal from that country in 2021 under former President joe biden.
"We must now re-examine every alien who has entered our country from Afghanistan under biden," said Trump in a live address on Wednesday night.
