A small thing, but cheering, nonetheless.
The news will drive the members of my college book club crazy.
I should explain that of the eight or so women who regularly attend meetings, two are mothers of adult trannies and two (at least) are lesbians. What is it about my alma mater?
At our last meeting one woman--a butch-type law student with an adopted male name--denounced J.K. Rowling for having "gone over to the dark side," something she treated as a self-evident fact beyond dispute. I can only imagine the trouble she will cause in years to come by litigating on behalf of her favorite causes.
