18 years ago, CanadaFreePress.com was on top of the phenomenon of moslem paramilitary compounds here in the U.S.A., with one piece titled "Springtime in Islamberg." (The link in that page is dead.) Seventy acres in a mountainous area near Hancock, NY, near the delaware river and the northeast corner of Pennsylvania. There is a wikipedia entry for it that makes it sound oh-so-peacefully benign.

EXCERPTS (I saved a copy - probably also findable on the wayback machine, if Mr. Peabody hasn't been intimidated into deleting it).

"The sentry, at the time of this visit, is an african american dressed in islamic garb - - a skull cap, a prayer shawl, and a loose fitting shalwat kameez. he instructs us to turn around and leave. 'our community is not open to visitors,' he says.

"the hillside is blighted by rusty trailers that appear to be without power or running water and a number of outhouses. the scent of raw sewage is in the air.

"the complex serves to scare the bejeesus out of the local residents. 'if you go there, you better wear body armor,' a customer at the circle e diner in Hancock said.

"it is home to hundreds - - all in islamic attire, and all african-americans.

ELSEWHERE - I recall reading - somewhere - that even the county coroner was denied access; the body of the deceased was brought out to the gate.

"Video - A bunch of bikers and a caravan of cars rode by. a disappointing 12 minutes. The first half is on State Route 10. Then it looks like some county road. They're not actually inside the private area. And loads of state police are along for the ride, scared that something was going to happen."

"On July 15th Proud Boys magazine went along on a Ride for National Security organized by Everything Patriot. The ride was through isalmberg, a camp ground in Handcock NY with ties to a a terror organization called Jamaat al Fuqura. Muslims of American (or M.O.A) has been fingered in FBI documents as a front group for Jamaat al Fuqura and lists islamberg as it's headquarters.

"One month before the ride a man with ties to islamberg was arrested with a storage locker full of military grade weapons raising eyebrows and causing M.O.A. to cancel their protest.

The event went as planned and was undoubtedly peaceful. Segregation does not work in the United States and should be defied. Separation of Church and State is something this country has always stood for and helps makes us who we our. "No-Go" zones like in Europe need to be brought to the public's attention."
