Lindsay Graham on his conversation with the President, just after the assassination attempt, before it had been broadcast

Trey Gowdy interviewed Lindsay Graham tonight on FOX. Graham said that “Mr. Trump called me about what happened, before the news broke. ‘I’m surrounded by 500 cops,’ he said.

“I asked him how he was doing and he told me, ‘I was two under after 5 holes.

“remarkable,’ Graham said. ‘not the 2 under part, but that he was calm about the whole thing.’”

N.S.: The President thrives off of crisis. During the first assassination attempt, in 2016, he was speaking to a throng in a huge auditorium or stadium. When his would-be killer charged towards him, and the secret service detail tackled him, the candidate simply turned to the side, unfazed.
