N.S.: I take (natural and artificially-sweetened ) melatonin tabs to help me sleep, and they do not function like knockout drops. They must have given those girls some heap of melatonin, to knock them out. Note, too, that melatonin can be purchased over the counter.

The vet prescribed melatonin pills (and thyroid pills) for my dog when he suffered hair loss. He seemed to sleep more soundly and woke up full of energy--and horny. Yes, all his hair grew back.
