GRA: After years of vicious impersonations of Donald Trump, Alec Baldwin deserves to be on the receiving end from Trump. Go on snl, and let her rip.
"Let's see, I'm on a movie set--oh look--a revolver. I must go over and pick it up. Now--for no good reason--I'm going to point it at our cinematographer and pull the trigger (BAM!). Oh, look--I hit the guy standing behind her, too--kind of like the JFK assassination. I'm a regular Lee Harvey Baldwin. I hope Jack Ruby isn't around."
What Baldwin says happened is that he was told to pick the gun up and directed by Halyna Hutchins to aim the gun at her, when the gun went off.
Whether that's true or not, Baldwin's impersonations of Trump had nothing to do with the truth, so Trump should be under no obligation to worry about it, either. What's good for the goose...

Those single action revolvers when cocked require only the slightest degree of trigger pole to go off that is probably what happened, but he should not have been pointing the weapon at the weapons handler
