I remember it--it was by Joe Biden and the Molesters(1965).

A few years ago, someone released some kind of constrictor near my old workplace in Austin. Our plant was on the outskirts of town, so maybe the individual who did this felt he was letting go of his snake in the wilderness. It must have gotten too big for its owner to handle.

One my coworkers shot a video of the thing crawling up a tree. It was definitely bigger than any American snake I'm aware of, plus it had a hefty build. It was green with yellow markings. A python, even an anaconda? That's not out of the question in a sanctuary city like Austin.

The image of the snake got shared around. Eventually our HR department sent out a message telling people to beware of it. I never heard of anyone spotting it again.

Austin has warm and hot weather for much of the year. But it usually gets a couple winter days with freezing temperatures. Hopefully that thing didn't survive the freezing weather when it finally arrived.

There was this one guy who had himself wrapped in a constrictor snake to see if he could get loose. He could not and had to have help to get the snake released. Too bad this guy did not get wrapped with the snake.
