no uvalde II in st. louis city school shooting today; most of school security and the cops did their job—with one exception, which cost one student and one woman their lives; cops killed the shooter, but not before he also wounded six vics; instead of congratulating students and most staff for their cool response, the racist, black mayor sought to score cheap political points

By N.S.

“The shooting just after 9 a.m. at Central Visual and Performing Arts High School forced students to barricade doors and huddle in classroom corners, jump from windows and run out of the building to seek safety.

“Schools Superintendent Kelvin Adams said seven security guards were in the school at the time, each at an entry point of the locked building. One of the guards noticed the man was trying to get in at a locked door, but couldn’t. The guard notified school officials and ensured that police were contacted, Sack said.”

N.S.: But somebody didn’t do his job, or the shooter would never have gotten in.

“‘It was that timely response by that security officer, the fact that the door did cause pause for the suspect, that bought us some time,’ Sack said.”

Seven security guards for one school building with fewer than 380 students?! (Officially, the school has 383 students.)

During my cameo appearances at Long Beach High School (1973-74), before I dropped out at 16, it must have had over 1,000 students. Number of security guards: 0.

st. louis city’s attractive, mulatto mayor made a statement which consisted of idiotic talking points.

“The shooting left St. Louis Mayor Tishaura Jones shaken.

“‘Our children shouldn’t have to experience this,’ Jones said at the news conference. ‘They shouldn't have to go through active shooter drills in case something happens. And unfortunately that happened today.’”

Oh, yes they should have to go through active shooter drills! How many lives did those active shooter drills save today? The kids and staff behaved admirably, stacking desks against classroom doors, refusing to open doors that the killer was pounding on, and in some cases jumping out of school windows to escape.

If Mayor Jones had any decency, she would have been congratulating them. Instead, she sought to score cheap political points in the never-ending campaign to disarm law-abiding, White gunowners.

At this point, I have only one criticism of police, who responded rapidly and forcefully, to the report of a shooter inside. White st. louis police commissioner Michael Sack said that he was not going to interview survivors today, because they had been “traumatized.” That was a mistake. He should immediately be interviewing witnesses, before they have time to share notes with each other, or be influenced by family, friends, or the media. They could always add details later. Now, their witness statements will be contaminated.

No, make that two criticisms. police commissioner Mangina Sack needs to shut up about "trauma," and thoroughly investigate how the killer got into the school. Somebody didn't do his job, and that somebody must be fired, and never permitted to have anything to do with educating kids again. “A woman and a teenage girl were killed Monday morning in a shooting inside a St. Louis high school, authorities said. The gunman was also killed in the shooting, police said, and six others were taken to hospitals with injuries.

“At a news conference, police commissioner Michael Sack said the injuries [sic] ranged from gunshot wounds to shrapnel wounds.”
