Orlando Harris is a White man...at least according to on-the-scene "witness," Jerya Luster. Quote from Luster: “It was a white man. He said: ‘All of y’all are going to die.’’”

thecoli lists sports, hip hop, and piff under its heading...whatever the heck “piff” is, but the article appears to have been run before the perp was identified, so OK, they were just going by the best information available but I wonder if they’ll issue a retraction, or just leave it there, in order to fool people after they start forgetting about it. That won’t take long because as we know, black shooters always get much less media play than White ones.
The real question is, why this Jerya Luster (negro name) mistook jigaboo (slur blacks use for dark-skinned blacks) Orlando Harris for a White man. Probably never actually saw the shooter but just wanted it to be a White man, so she just lied, hoping it would be so.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a few years from now, some people who do remember the shooting will think it was a White man. Much like most people who still remember black mass shooter Chris Harper Mercer think he was a “White supremacist.” Since the shooting was in Oregon, a fair number of people here in pdx still do remember the umpqua college shooting but whenever the subject of mass shootings comes up and I ask people about Mercer, they always think it was a White man that did it.
When I “remind” them Mercer was actually black, they get very uncomfortable and a few of my ultra-woke relatives have forgotten that particular detail multiple times. They are amazingly stubborn in hanging onto their delusion that only White men commit mass shootings.
[N.S.: I have many woke relatives, too. They are allergic to facts, because they are loyal to racist blacks, and are the enemies of working-class and even middle-class Whites, including Jews. It’s all about loyalty and enmity. That’s why we’ll go 30 years at a time without crossing paths or speaking, and only meet at memorial services. For such people, water is thicker than blood. I call it Avalon syndrome, after the 1990 Barry Levinson picture about his Baltimore childhood, and how his once tight-knit, extended family fell apart.]

Yes, when I first searched for news on the shooting I saw the Daily Mail piece with the "It was a white man."

Anyone with a name of Orlando Harris in St. Louis I would expect that person to be a negro. Scotsmen don't use the first name of Orlando. Plus other things.

For those that might say: Well, they did run Harris's photo so you knew he was black. Yes, many media outlets did do that but he won't be on the internet headlines or front pages of the print news the way White ones are. It's all about general impression, not specifics, people, especially the Woke, don't remember details, they just remember a vague impression from headlines or the details that are in alignment with their ideology. Seeing "he was a White man" in the text somewhere sticks in their brain whereas the actual truthful detail that he was black, generally does not. Anybody who pays half attention to the "news" can see the pattern. It's very effective though, you can see the evidence in what people believe, vast majority of people in this country erroneously believe that most mass, serial killers and child molesters are White men, when in truth they are mostly black or hispanic men. Even people who are conservative often go with that "general impression" they get from the media.
When you have anti-White,anti-law types running media,they have the ability to say whatever they want--with no one to oversee their lies and malfeasance.When was the last time the FCC came out and punished anyone for outright,intentional,fact mangling against Whites?
Declaring Orlando Harris to be White is not as bad as only airing White crimes and ignoring black crimes--which the networks do.. This agenda should be corrected by the FCC as part of a process of presenting news in an objective manner.That means ALL news is given--regardless of the race or political party involved.
Fox had the right idea:"We report--you decide,"but that was too boring,I guess and the temptation to liberalize its viewpoint destroyed anything FOX had to offer that could have fought the commie wave on most TV channels.
A shame they didn't stay with the concept of free speech.

If you watch the TV series "Law and Order" you would think only Whitey people period commit crimes in this country.

GRA:If you can believe it(I do),nnn's report on the St.Louis school shooting DID NOT include a photo of Orlando Harris,the perp. The network showed the black vic's picture much more(10 seconds)than the White vic(2 seconds)but neither for long.
The shooting was the lead story of the night,but the three minute report did not tell us who the perp was--except a quick mention of his name .
This is a new variation in censorship from nbc/nnn.Prior to this incident,if a black like Samuel Little was pictured on nnn,the time his face was shown was subliminal--but it WAS visible for a second or two.Today's change--which completely erases the perp's face from the report,indicates an even more radical policy from Holt and nnn in protecting blacks from being identified as the criminals and murderers they are.

St. Louis a year so so ago had one hundred murders and a negro was the suspect in ALL of them.
