Just keep saying to yourself: "The transit system is safe. The Transit system is safe. Nothing can go wrong, go wrong, go wrong, go wrong." Etc.
Various statistics are given in the article about crime being higher or lower than two years ago,but the only stat that counts is,how many minorities live in your city--and are the numbers of blacks,Mex and Muslim increasing?If the answer is yes,the (violent)crime can only increase as well.
That's all you need to know.
