Mapped: US Wind Electricity Generation by State

This is great for Texas.

When the wind blows.

Wind is intermittent.

Energy demand is not.

Load-leveling and electricity storage are the issues in Texas.

Natural gas-fired turbines can spin up pretty quickly to meet peak loads.

Wind cannot.

Better to go nuclear.

Just like the UK is planning to do.
