He's still new and going through the phases that mayors--with over 20% minority population in their cities--go through.It's as if a script and timetable has been passed around to all mayors. I've listed them before(applies more to smaller cities)but will repeat briefly:
A murder occurs early in his/her administration:
THEY say:"This does not reflect who we are."
More murders:
"This is a safe city."
More murders:
"THIS MUST STOP!"
Record murders:
"A committee will study ways to fight the violence."
Record murders part deux:
No more comments by the mayor about black crime and murder.
It happens everywhere the same way.

I know a cool trick that would practically eliminate violent crime in NYC overnite (link):
If New York City were all white, the murder rate would drop by 91 percent, the robbery rate by 81 percent, and the shootings rate by 97 percent.
