NATO TRIES TO ISOLATE RUSSIA FROM THE WORLD BANKING SYSTEM--PUTIN RAISES NUCLEAR THREAT.

GRA:With stock futures limit down at the start because of what one expert called a "possible Lehman moment with Russian banks,"which could spread elsewhere,NATO is continuing to attempt to break Putin economically,an attempt that may force unwanted consequences(limited nuke attack?)

On top of that,a former White House physician said Joe Biden is in "absolutely no condition to face this type of crisis."

Other than that,not much going on.

(ZH)As Bloomberg reports, sanctioning Russia’s central bank is likely to have a dramatic effect on the country’s economy and its banking system, Elina Ribakova, deputy chief economist for the Institute of International Finance, said before the latest round of penalties was announced.

“This would likely lead to massive bank runs and dollarization, with a sharp sell-off, drain on reserves -- and, possibly, a full-on collapse of Russia’s financial system.”
