France remains Europe’s biggest net exporter of power as the continent’s energy crunch unfolds, even as its nuclear reactors curb output https://t.co/yJvwRTaQJ7

I responded, Why would nuclear reactors “curb,” rather than expand energy output?
It’s reliance on solar and wind energy that curb output.

Did you bother to read the article? -- or just react/reply to the tweet?
“This cold December for France came alongside high demand, low wind and hydro generation, followed by a series of nuclear maintenance outages toward the end of the year,” Jean-Paul Harreman, EnAppSys director, said in an emailed statement. Those outages “contributed to the lowest nuclear availability levels in recent history.”
It appears reactor output was 'curbed' recently due to maintenance -- the tweet is poorly worded; in particular, curbed is clearly not the best choice for what's actually going on.

BLM protester who killed man in fire should get longer sentence: Cotton
Apparently, he pled guilty, and it seems there was a plea deal -- probably the government's sentencing memorandum is related to the plea deal.
Here's the sentencing memorandum -- link
I skimmed thru it -- two things stood out: 1) a LOT of blah blah, including case history, is presented to justify the rather light sentence federal prosecutors request; it seems a LOT work went into this document, which is designed to convince the court that the defendant should not be punished too harshly; 2) it contains the following passage: Mr. Lee appears to be a thoughtful, intelligent man. He does have a terrible incident of domestic violence in his criminal history, in which he viciously assaulted a woman and ruptured her left eardrum. -- actually, re being 'a thoughtful, intelligent man', anyone reviewing this incident would come to exactly the opposite conclusion.
