"Rev. Jesse Jackson, civil rights icon, dies at 84"

If you want to learn how Jackson got his start in his life of crime, read the biography by America's greatest investigative reporter, Carl Horowitz, of Jackson's successor, Al Sharpton: Sharpton: A Demagogue's Never-Ending Rise. I think this is the fourth edition, and is now encyclopedic. (It also cites at least three of my articles.

I posted an obit,so I'll just repost my comment about him:

Jesse tried doing the Nipsey Russell rhyming thing:

"Can you dance?
And make romance?
If you can,
Let me get in yo' pants.'

A lot was nonsensical black gibberish;

"The discussion,
About the Russian,
Will leave you blushin',
Like oil gushin'."

It meant nothing.
Media ate it up.

"You have inflation,
Throughout the nation,
Which then creates,
A conflagration."

As if blacks knew what "conflagration" meant.

One last one(from me)

He was a faker,
No world shaker,
Next stop is with,
The undertaker.
