The crime happened on Monday at about 11 p.m. in the 12700 block of S. Wentworth Avenue, police said. A 16-year-old boy said he was walking when two men walked up to him, pulled out a firearm and demanded his "things". (GRA: More like, "Give us yo' damn sheeeet, nigga"--not "give us your things.") The teen said he was shot as he tried to run away. He self-transported to Roseland Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left thigh and right calf. He is expected to be OK.
