Love was in the air in des moines--and so were bullets--at a party, in a place where nEGROES congregate--a strip mall rental space "(wcci) the des moines police department is investigating a shooting that sent three people to the hospital with serious injuries.

"officers say they were first called to 1050 e. army post road around 12:15 a.m. saturday on reports of gunfire. they say when officers arrived, they found three victims, all of whom were in serious condition and taken to a hospital.

"they say it happened during a Valentine's Day party happening in one of the store spaces in a strip mall. during the investigation, officers were able to determine that automatic gunfire was fired.

"[it's] very fortunate there weren't more people hurt. it sounds like there was a pretty big crowd inside there,' sgt. Paul Parizek said.

"police say the shooting was connected to the event and the public is not in any danger. [N.S.: GRA is thinking, "Ha, ha, ha!"]

"iowa state patrol later stopped a car that the dmpd believes may be connected to the case, but no arrest has been made.
