To finish the long-winded post, I wanted to add that the kicker is that not only are the races switched, but many of the examples are of performers who are HIDEOUSLY UGLY- like the monstrosity playing Shakespeare's Juliet, or Mary-Jane Watson from Spider-Man (who was famously introduced in the comics as a knockout beauty). Remember the tenet of Communism regarding surrounding people with ugliness....

"Poopie" Goldberg's rationalization for her approval of blacks getting famous White character roles is "they're fictional. they can be played by ANYBODY--black, White, hispanic, men, women."
And I say...animals (apes), could take Poopie's spot in remakes of Jumpin' Jack Flash, Ghost, The Color Purple-and especially on the (witches') view.
But give the replacement ape a banana, to keep it quiet, slightly different than "Poopie"--who would probably require a pink banana to shut her up--same as Kamala Harris.

I wrote a long comment on this, but it disappeared before I finished typing it. I assumed it was transmitted by mistake, but if you never received it, strange forces are at work.

I need a break from the internet. Many of the posts I put a lot of work into which I think are interesting or important are never highlighted or commented on anyway (and GRA is the only one who comments- which I do appreciate).

I'd like to see them cast a few others as black: Hitler, Pol Pot, Jack the Ripper, Al Capone--and many others of that ilk.

But if a White so much as voices an animated black character (actually happened on the Simpsons), it's cultural appropriation. The actors/writers apologize, grovel and swear never to do it again. Meanwhile negroes and other races have complete freedom to play any traditionally White roles they please.
The blackwashing of casting decisions genuinely irritates me. It detracts from the authenticity of the film, especially if it's a historical film. Black intimidation, both within and outside the studios, rides high. It's like they're saying, "Put that brutha in the role of Titus Andronicus or Oliver Cromwell or da community will boycott you." They're basically shakedowns.
How do blacks have any power to threaten? Does Netflix take EBT cards?
