I read the paperback book--a monster--back in the 80s. It was recommended to me by a friend at work. Saw the series. Liked both. Reading--I think it was 600-800 pages and was like running a marathon.

I don't remember a damn thing about it now. But that's me and books. Music/lyrics to records--yes,I can crank those out,but books--no.
