"(Fox17) muskegon heights, mich. — a suspect in the death of Sasha Spears is now in police custody. investigators believe Deangelo Aubrey killed the 36-year-old single mother from muskegon heights and another woman on monday.
"muskegon heights police chief Maurice Sain confirmed with Fox17 that Aubrey is under arrest for both deaths.
"Spears was found dead inside her home on Hoyt street around 2:30 p.m. on monday by her sister. Spears had suffered a serious injury, according to Muskegon heights police.
"based on information from relatives, detectives began to search for Aubrey who had been in a relationship with Spears.
"then around 4 p.m. a different woman from Muskegon heights was reported missing and she may have been last seen with Aubrey. Aubrey and the second woman previously dated, according to police.
"roughly six hours later, the missing woman was found dead inside a vehicle parked near 6th street and Delano avenue.
"Aubrey was tracked down and arrested around midnight."

(nbc10)Police have arrested a 22-year-old man -- and charged him with murder and related offenses -- after a double shooting last month along Packer Avenue at Broad Street in South Philadelphia left one man dead and put another in the hospital.
According to police, on Monday, investigators apprehended Abou Keita, 22, in a parked vehicle along the 2200 block of South Felton Street in Southwest Philadelphia. He was taken into custody without incident, officials said.
He has been charged with murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and related offenses after a shooting that happened in South Philadelphia on Oct. 9, 2025.
In that incident, officials said, officers responded to the 1300 block of Packer Avenue to find 23-year-old Hasson Mason suffering from gunshot wounds to his face and body. He died shortly after being taken to a nearby hospital, officials said.
A second victim of the same shooting, officials said, was located in front of Chickie's & Pete's restaurant along the 1500 block of Packer Avenue that evening. This victim, a 23-year-old man, was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot in the torso, officials said.
Police officials said, at the time, that investigators recovered 21 spent shell casings from a semi-automatic firearm along with a loaded clip at the scene of the shooting.
A four-door sedan was found running, at the scene, with at least 15 bullet holes in the driver's side and rear windshield, officials said, as well.

Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-Fla.) was indicted by a federal grand jury in Florida for allegedly stealing $5 million in FEMA overpayments to her company and funneling some of the money into her congressional campaign.
Cherfilus-McCormick faces up to 53 years in prison if convicted.
GRA:Could a guilty verdict really happen if there are blacks on her jury? Plus,how long will it take for "justice" to move this along? She might be a 10 term congresswoman by the time a trial occurs.
