WEJB/NSU gets hoaxed!
Is this gab posting under “Pajeets Gone Wild” a fake? Searching the internet I cannot find any reference to indians in canada dying from carbon monoxide poisoning from a generator in their apartment during a lengthy hurricane-caused power outage. Please give a source to verify this item.
The only news story remotely close is about a group of twelve employees of an indian restaurant who died of carbon monoxide poisoning in december 2024 from an indoor generator in their apartment—but this was at a ski resort in gudauri in the caucasus mountains of Georgia.

N.S.: Thank you, YLR. I left a comment at the gab posting, Drop the hoax.

HAS DONALD TRUMP HAD A STROKE?
GRA:Internet sees "drooping face" of Donald Trump today at a 9/11 memorial.
(Daily Mirror)At the 9/11 memorial, internet users speculated about Trump's bizarre drooping facial expression, jumping to conclusions about a potential health scare like a mini stroke.

Donald Trump has sparked further health concerns
"Trump at the 9/11 Pentagon memorial ceremony. What is wrong with his face?" one X user asked.
GRA:1)He's upset about Charlie Kirk and
2)60% of the damn country sucks.
Anything's possible,of course,at his age and the lack of physical shape.he's in.

Well I did some further research. Reddit almost unanimously said(wished)he was having a stroke, but then he got up and made a speech. I think he was tired and wanted a nap. Those four hours of sleep a night are catching up to him.

One further comment. There's video of Trump greeting Kumalot Harris,Brandon and former mayor Bloomberg at the 9/11 memorial--and he looked fine. I don't know if that was before the "droopy face"/tired pics were taken. But aside from everything medical,he looks worn out--which is not hard to believe, even for a combative person like he is.

I guess I got hoaxed on the harris, biden, bloomberg, trump meeting. That was not this year. You tube videos are not always what they seem.

RETAIL CRIME IN BIG CITIES GOES THROUGH THE ROOF--HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS?
(ZH)America’s great cities once symbolized prosperity and culture. Now, many are paying a steep financial price as crime surges and businesses flee. As one line in a new op-ed piece put it, “Crime has a balance sheet. In poorly led cities, that balance sheet is bleeding red ink by the day.”
Retail is bearing the brunt, according to an op-ed by Ted Jenkin at Fox News. The National Retail Federation (NRF) reported U.S. retailers lost $112 billion in 2022 due to theft, up from $94 billion in 2021. Between 2019 and 2023, shoplifting incidents rose 93% and dollar losses climbed 90%. Major chains are pulling back: Target projected $500 million in additional losses this year, Walgreens has shut stores across San Francisco, and Nordstrom left downtown entirely.
(GRA:Yet,the vast majority of stores don't close--how do they do it--stay open?)
“Does it seem insane to you that so many of these retail stores have to lock up much of the merchandise…knowing that they will never be arrested?” the piece asked. The fallout is visible in empty storefronts and shrinking city budgets. San Francisco’s downtown vacancy rate has hit 34.8%, erasing jobs, tax revenue, and foot traffic.
Shoplifters in Maryland
The damage extends beyond retail. In Chicago, violent crime and open-air drug markets are dragging down high-end condo values, reducing property tax revenue that funds schools and infrastructure. In New York, incarceration costs $925 per day, or $337,000 annually, per inmate, while NYPD overtime bills soar. Yet, critics argue leadership continues to recycle a costly “arrest, release, repeat” cycle.
The column says that tourism is also slipping. Roughly 2 million fewer international visitors are expected in New York this year, a shortfall that could cost the city $4 billion in 2025. Conventions and vacationers are steering clear of destinations perceived as unsafe, draining hotels, restaurants, and local economies.
The bottom line: the cost of crime is far more than what’s stolen off a shelf. It shows up in lost jobs, falling property values, higher taxes, and weakened reputations. As the piece concludes, “the real crime isn’t just happening on the streets – it’s in the budgets of poorly led blue cities, where the cost of chaos is measured in billions.”
GRA:I guess Whitey pays for it--makes up the difference--by paying the higher prices that follow.

"TROUBLED MEMPHIS WILL GET A VISIT FROM TROOPS ,"SAYS PRESIDENT TRUMP
(abc noise)President Donald Trump said Friday that he will send National Guard troops to Memphis, Tennessee, as part of his push to combat crime.
The president said on "Fox & Friends" that he wanted to replicate the results of his deployment of the National Guard in Washington, D.C.
"Memphis is deeply troubled," he said during the interview. "We're going to fix that, just like we did in Washington."
Trump said part of the crime crackdown could include federal forces, National Guard and even "the military, too," if needed into Memphis.
"And anybody else we need," Trump said of the forces he planned to send into Memphis.

Trump has said that local leaders across the country should ask for federal help and indicated that he has such backing from Tennessee officials.
"The mayor is happy. He's a Democrat mayor, the mayor is happy. And the governor, Tennessee, the governor is happy," he said.
Republican Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee's office said in a statement on X that he would be speaking with Trump to "work out the details."
"I'm grateful for the President's unwavering support and commitment to providing every resource necessary to serve Memphians, and I look forward to working with local officials and law enforcement to continue delivering results," he said in the post on Friday afternoon.
Memphis Mayor Paul Young confirmed at a news conference Friday afternoon that the National Guard will be sent to the city, but the Democrat added he didn't ask for the National Guard.
Young added he needed more details on the Guard's deployment from the governor and the federal government.
"When will they come? How many people are gonna come? How long will they be here? What are they going to wear?" Young asked.
The mayor cited the city's drop in crime over the last year.
There have been 29,978 reported crime incidents in Memphis in 2025 as of Sept. 11, a roughly 44% drop from the same period in 2024 when there were 53,805 reported incidents, according to data from the city.
GRA:We're supposed to believe that black thugs in nearly every big city have cut their crime down. Why on earth would they do that, from coast to coast, simultaneously?
More believable:All the black mayors got a brainstorm and decided to lie and unleash their biggest whopper yet--from coast to coast.

NASA ANNOUNCES THEY'VE FOUND "LIFE ON MARS"(BIG ASTERISK)
(economic times)In what is being described as a groundbreaking step in planetary science, NASA announces life on Mars may no longer be confined to science fiction. A new study based on core samples drilled by the Perseverance rover has revealed mineral and chemical patterns that, on Earth, are frequently linked with microbial activity. While officials have urged caution, the discovery marks the closest scientists have come to identifying potential life on Mars, with evidence tied to ancient water flow in the Jezero Crater, as per a report by the science journal Earth.
"It could just as easily be non-microbial,"said a spokesman,"we need more information. BUT..."
GRA:"BUT we wanted to make some headlines. So we jumped to conclusions with this one--big deal--planetary exploration is very boring. We go month after month, year after year where absolutely nothing new happens,so screw you lay people--we're getting drunk tonight at NASA--and Buzz Aldrin is buying. Okay,Buzz buying is false."
