To make room for someone worse, Eric Adams quits the mayoral race

“(zh) in a video on x announcing his decision, Adams, formerly a democrat but now running as an independent after he repeatedly angered the Biden doj. [sic] and who was allegedly been [sic] promised a spot in the Trump admin if he were to quit the race, said that 'despite all we’ve achieved, I cannot continue my reelection campaign. The constant media speculation about my future and the campaign finance board’s decision to withhold millions of dollars have undermined my ability to raise the funds needed for a serious campaign.
