“Heather Cox Richardson, a center-left historian [sic] with the biggest following out of any individual on substack, spread an appalling lie about Charlie Kirk’s assassin in a post published sunday.

“Richardson has over 2.6 million subscribers to her substack, a newsletter presumably read by scores [thousands] of center-left, ‘normie’ liberals. she is a history professor at [once-Catholic] boston college, has interviewed former [fake] president Joe Biden, and is planning to interview with the bulwark. by no means is she a fringe figure, nor is she, at least on the surface, a radical; if anything, she is someone who would be welcomed on a show like morning Joe.

[N.S.: Translation: republicans and "conservatives" have been too lazy to follow Richardson.]

“Yet, on sunday, Richardson spread the baseless claim that Kirk’s suspected assassin, Tyler Robinson, is somehow conservative and that he disliked Kirk because he was not right-wing enough.

“'in fact, the alleged [confessed!] shooter was not someone on the left. the alleged [confessed!] killer, Tyler Robinson, is a young white man from a republican, gun enthusiast family, who appears to have embraced the far right, disliking Kirk for being insufficiently radical,' Richardson falsely claimed.

“'rather than grappling with reality,' she went on to say, 'right-wing figures are using Kirk’s murder to prop up their fictional world. briefly, they claimed Robinson had been ‘radicalized’ in college. then, when it turned out he had spent only a single semester at a liberal arts college before going to trade school, maga pivoted to attack those who allegedly [absolutely!] had celebrated Kirk’s death on social media. [N.S.: “maga pivoted to attack those who allegedly had celebrated Kirk’s death on social media.” There is so much dishonesty packed into Richardson's sentence that it's amazing, in the sense in which Casey Stengel said of the 1962 New York Mets, “They're amazin'!" communists/racial socialists didn't "allegedly celebrate" the assassination of Charlie Kirk on social media, they celebrated it, and are still celebrating it, and Trump supporters didn't “pivot” to attack those who were celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk, as if to distract people, they were attacking the celebrants, all along.]

John Loftus: “disturbingly, a new yougov poll shows that a substantial portion of Americans believe that Robinson is affiliated with the republican party, though utah gov. Spencer Cox and federal officials have confirmed he was influenced by leftist ideology. even one of the bullets recovered by authorities read, 'hey fascist! catch!'”....
